Re: Do Fire Mastery boost other's with Enchant? Of course you should max fire mastery! Fire mastery gives you +%skill damage. +% skill damage applies both to fire skills and fire damage. If you have +50% fire skill damage, a firebolt which normally does 10-30 fire damage will now do 15-45 fire damage. I don't know of a rule about a chance to hit your opponent if you fire into melee in 3.x. As far as i know, you just get a -4 penalty and be done with it.
